Poetry Prize Contest

We are sponsoring a poetry contest with a prize. The District-4 Human Dignity Poetry Prize will be awarded to a resident within the district who creates an exceptional poem on the meaning of human dignity. As a component of our Dignity Agenda, the Poetry Prize will highlight perspectives of “dignity,” identity, and community through our neighbors. The deadline for submission is August 7th. Philadelphia Stories will facilitate the competition.

To submit your poem, visit SenatorHaywood.com/PoetryPrize.

We will be joined by a panel of experts to discuss the impact of the Civil Rights Act in our lives today.
