In 2023, we built a coalition of organizations committed to violence intervention in high crime areas in Northwest Philadelphia. These organization provide a variety of interventions, resources, and opportunities to disrupt the cycle of violence for shooters and shot.
We’ve seen a 33% decrease in gun violence within high crime areas in the NW compared to last year.
Our lives have dignity. Peace protects our dignity.

Commonsense Gun Laws — Permit to Purchase
My proposed legislation would require individuals to obtain a firearm eligibility license before purchasing a gun.
We must do more to keep firearms out of the wrong hands.
