DIGNITY AGENDA
WOMEN’S EQUALITY
No choice.
No freedom.
Across the nation, women have seen attacks on their dignity and bodily autonomy. Women are being forced to choose between an unwanted or even life threatening pregnancy and traveling hundreds on miles across state to receive the care they need.
Mothers are forced to make hard choices over their career, trying to balance work life and childcare.
In the workplace, women still make only a fraction of what a man makes.
These limitations and restricts are a violation of dignity.
Dignity for Women
Prioritizing women’s equality in Pennsylvania is paramount. We must address not only gender disparities but crucial issues like Black maternal health. By dismantling barriers, we empower women to contribute fully, ensuring equal opportunities in education, employment, and healthcare. Focused attention on disparities, particularly in maternal health, is essential for fostering a fair and thriving society, creating a more just and prosperous future for all residents in the Commonwealth.
Join the fight for women’s equality.

Small Necessities Leave Act
With more and more parents working full-time jobs, it has become increasingly difficult for parents to be present for milestone moments or necessary medical appointments.
Senator Haywood’s legislation that would require employers to provide paid time off for employees’ children’s school activities.
This legislation would protect parents from demotion or termination for using allotted time.
We must do more to support families.
