DESCRIPTION:Senator Haywood is organizing the first inaugural Youth Power Summit on Saturday\, October 28th from 9:00am – 12:30pm at Martin Luther King High School. This event\, in collaboration with community partners\, aims to empower and amplify the voices of young leaders. The summit marks the first of its kind within the MLK High School community\, bringing together young leaders for hands -on workshops led by community partners. Topics including Building a Business\, Mental Health\, Fitness/Sports\, Youth Voice in Media and much more!  \nParticipants can enjoy complimentary food and have a chance to win free giveaways such as gift cards and air pods through a raffle.
