Temporary School Closings & Meals

Gov. Wolf

This afternoon, Governor Wolf announced the closing of all K-12 schools in Pennsylvania to temporarily close on Monday, 16 March until Friday, 27 March. At the end of the two-week closure, the administration will evaluate the situation to determine if the closure is still needed. The Pennsylvania Department of Education announced that it will allow eligible schools to serve meals to low income students through a drive-through or grab-and-go setting. As new information arises, we will keep you informed.

Be the Light,

Art Haywood
State Senator
4th District
